AI Consulting & Implementation

AI strategy that turns into working systems.

For established companies with roughly 25 to 250 people. We find where repetitive work is costing you, build the AI workflow that removes it, and hand it over tested, documented and measured. Fixed scope. Fixed price.

The problem

Everyone has an AI strategy deck. Few have an AI system running.

Established companies don't lack ideas. They lack a working first implementation, built by someone who understands operations, with the controls a real business needs.

Repetitive work eats senior time

Quotes, follow-ups, reconciliations, status reports and re-keyed data: the same hours, every week, done by people hired for something else.

Systems that don't talk

CRM, accounting, documents and email each hold part of the truth. Someone is the integration, by hand, and they're the bottleneck.

No clear first move

Pilots that never leave the sandbox, vendors selling chatbots, and no honest answer to “what should we build first, and what should we skip?”

What we do

Operational improvement, powered by AI.

We aren't selling access to a model or a chatbot. We sell a better-running operation, with AI doing the repetitive parts under your controls.

01AI Opportunity AssessmentWorkflows, systems, operational costs and the opportunities hiding in them, ranked by value and feasibility.
02AI Strategy & RoadmapA prioritized plan your leadership team can defend: what to build, in what order, and what to leave alone.
03Custom AI AgentsTailored agents and workflows for specific operations: qualifying inquiries, drafting proposals, processing documents.
04Workflow AutomationConnect and automate the repetitive steps that cross your existing systems.
05Internal AI Knowledge AssistantsEmployees get answers from approved company documents, with access controls and an audit trail.
06Business Systems IntegrationAI workflows wired into your CRM, document systems, databases and the tools you already pay for.
07AI Training & EnablementLeadership and staff learn to use the workflows well and responsibly.
08Ongoing AI OptimizationAfter launch: monitor, evaluate outcomes and keep improving. Scoped separately, once there's something to optimize.

How we work

Seven steps. The same ones every time.

The method we publish is the method we run. It's built for companies where a failed rollout has real consequences.

Step 01

Discover

We learn the business, the systems and the operational problems from the people who live with them. Interviews, not surveys.

  • Stakeholder interviews
  • Workflow and system inventory
  • Baseline numbers
Step 02

Prioritize

Every opportunity is scored on expected impact, cost, technical feasibility and risk. You see what to build first and what not to build at all.

  • Ranked opportunity map
  • Feasibility check per item
  • Roadmap you can defend
Step 03

Build

We develop the AI-assisted workflow and the integrations around it, in your environment, with your data staying in your systems.

  • Scoped build
  • Integrations with existing tools
  • Approval and access controls
Step 04

Validate

Function, accuracy, reliability, security and fit with how people actually work. Nothing goes live on a demo.

  • Test cases from real work
  • Edge cases and failure paths
  • Security review
Step 05

Deploy

The solution goes into the real workflow with fallbacks, logging and a recovery path, so a bad day stays a bad hour.

  • Staged rollout
  • Logging and alerts
  • Rollback procedure
Step 06

Enable

The people who use it are trained, and the operating procedures are written down. Your team runs it; we don't become a dependency.

  • Hands-on training
  • Written procedures
  • Owner for each workflow
Step 07

Measure

We compare performance to the original baseline, report plainly, and identify the next improvement.

  • Before-and-after metrics
  • Plain-English report
  • Next-step recommendations

Every engagement includes customer data isolation, human approval steps where decisions matter, logging, fallback procedures and a recovery path. We never use your company data to train public AI models.

Engagements

Two fixed-scope engagements. Starting prices, no retainer required.

One-time projects with a defined scope and a defined price. Not a monthly program you have to keep paying to keep the lights on.

Discuss AI Operations Accelerator

Starting prices in USD for the scope described. Larger scopes are quoted in writing after discovery. Third-party software, API and platform costs are separate and disclosed up front. Complex integrations get a feasibility check before we commit. Timelines depend on system access, scope and your team's availability. We don't guarantee financial outcomes, and we won't pretend anyone can.

Our promises

Low risk, by design.

We're a newer practice in this market, so we don't ask you to take anything on faith. Here's what you can hold us to, in writing.

Working-system promise

If the scoped workflow isn't working as specified in your environment by the end of the engagement, we keep working at no extra charge until it is.

Fixed scope, fixed price

The price you agree is the price you pay. Any change in scope is quoted in writing before the work starts. No surprise invoices.

Stop-early option

If discovery shows AI isn't worth it for you right now, we say so and stop. You pay only for the discovery work completed, not the full package.

You own everything

Code, prompts, workflows, documentation and accounts are yours. Nothing is locked behind us.

Where it applies

Business outcomes, not technology demos.

Illustrative scenarios of what an engagement typically implements. They describe the kind of work we do, not results we claim for named clients.

Sales operations

The problem
Inquiries sit, proposals take days, the CRM is out of date.
What gets implemented
AI-assisted lead qualification, proposal drafting from your templates and pricing rules, CRM updates from email and calls.
What changes
Every inquiry gets a first response and a score the same day; reps start from a drafted proposal instead of a blank page.
What to measure
Time to first response, proposal turnaround, CRM completeness.
Where people stay in charge
People approve every proposal and own every customer conversation.

Customer operations

The problem
Support inboxes mix urgent problems with routine requests, and routing is manual.
What gets implemented
Inquiry classification and routing, suggested replies drafted from approved knowledge, repetitive request handling.
What changes
Urgent issues surface first; routine requests get a drafted answer in minutes.
What to measure
Backlog, first-response time, escalation accuracy.
Where people stay in charge
Agents send the replies. The AI drafts and sorts; it doesn't decide.

Finance & administration

The problem
Invoices, statements and reports are re-keyed by hand, and month-end drags.
What gets implemented
Document extraction and matching, reconciliation assistance, approved back-office automations between systems.
What changes
Documents arrive structured and matched; month-end is review, not data entry.
What to measure
Hours per close, error rate, days to close.
Where people stay in charge
Finance approves every posting. Exceptions go to a person.

Internal knowledge

The problem
Answers live in people's heads and old PDFs; new hires ask the same questions for months.
What gets implemented
An internal assistant answering from authorized documents with permissions, citations and logging.
What changes
Staff find the policy, the spec or the price list in seconds, with the source shown.
What to measure
Questions answered without escalation, onboarding time.
Where people stay in charge
Access follows your existing permissions; sensitive documents stay out unless you say otherwise.

Executive operations

The problem
Leadership gets status by meeting and by chasing people.
What gets implemented
Management dashboards, automated reporting and process visibility across systems.
What changes
The weekly report writes itself from live data; meetings start with the numbers.
What to measure
Report preparation time, decision latency.
Where people stay in charge
Leaders decide. The system shows; it doesn't act on its own.

Where this comes from

Big-tech experience. Practical business solutions.

Profit & Process brings more than a decade of program management experience at Silicon Valley technology companies, including Facebook, Google and X. That means firsthand experience coordinating complex initiatives, improving processes, working across teams and getting things shipped inside large, demanding organizations.

Today we apply that experience, with modern AI, to help growing companies improve how they operate.

Former employers, not partners or clients. They don’t endorse Profit & Process.

Proof

What we can show you.

This consulting line is new, so you won't find a wall of client logos here, and we won't invent one. What we can do on the first call is show you working AI workflows we've built, walk through a sample opportunity map and roadmap, and explain exactly how an engagement would run for your company.

Then you decide, with the scope and the price in writing.

No commitment. We confirm fit, scope and price in writing before anything starts.

Questions

Questions executives ask first.

Is this a report, or do you actually build something?

Both, in that order. Every engagement ends with at least one AI workflow running in your environment. The roadmap tells you what to do next; the working system proves the approach.

Will it work with our existing systems?

That's what the feasibility check in discovery is for. We integrate with the tools you already use where the technical path is clear, and we tell you in writing where it isn't, before you commit.

How do you handle our data and security?

Your data stays in your systems and your accounts. Workflows run with the permissions you grant, human approval steps where decisions matter, logging and a recovery path. We never use your company data to train public AI models, and nothing we build for you is shared with anyone else.

We don't have a technical team. Is that a problem?

No. We build, document and train, and we hand over a system your people can run. If you'd rather we keep operating and improving it after launch, that's scoped separately.

Why fixed-price projects instead of a monthly retainer?

Because a first AI implementation should have a beginning and an end, and a price you can approve once. Ongoing optimization is available afterwards, when there's something real to optimize.

Are the prices firm?

They're starting prices for the scope on this page. Larger or more complex scopes are quoted after discovery, in writing, before work starts. Third-party software and API costs are separate and disclosed up front.

Do you guarantee results?

We guarantee the scoped system works as specified, that the price is fixed, and that you can stop early if discovery shows AI isn't worth it yet. We don't guarantee revenue or savings figures. Anyone who does is guessing.

Who will we actually work with?

Profit & Process is a focused practice, not a large firm. You meet the person doing the work on the first call and work with them throughout. No handoff to a junior team after the sale.

Start with a 30-minute conversation.

Bring the one process that annoys you most. We'll tell you whether AI is the answer, and what we'd build first.
